Practical information on travelling to Aston University.

Location

The seminar will be held in the Main Building of Aston University, Aston Triangle, Birmingham B4 7ET.

Aston is in Birmingham city centre so public transport is highly recommended.
Car parking is only available on site for people with disabilities, please email Pam Lowe (p.k.lowe@aston.ac.uk) to arrange.

Travel by train

Aston is within walking distance of all New Street, Moor Street and Snow Hill stations. Taxis are usually available from New Street, but often take longer!

Accommodation

Unfortunately we are not able to arrange accommodation for all participants. However, as it is in the city centre there are hotels within walking distance of the University including Britannia Hotel (New Street, Birmingham).

The Campanile Hotel (Birmingham- Central East) and Premier Inn (Birmingham Central East) are also near by.

Conference dinner

We will be having a pay-as-you-go dinner on the Wednesday evening after the book launch, which all participants are welcome to join. Please email Pam (p.k.lowe@aston.ac.uk) if you would like to attend.
